Corp. Gerald W. Detwiler

Corporal Gerald W. Detwiler was stationed in North Africa during WWII. He joined the armed forces in May, 1942, receiving his training at Camp Lee in Virginia and Fort Meade, Maryland. Gerald graduated from Connellsville High School, and was employed on his father's farm. He was also engaged in the timber business.
